We have all heard about the importance of ‘core fitness’, and about strengthening the body’s core. We know that this helps prevent pain and injuries and enhances endurance. Heart opening yoga poses or asanas can similarly help the body increase strength in the back, shoulders, and stabilising muscles. Yoga Asanas
In Sanskrit, the word “Hatha” implies “stubborn.” Therefore, practicing Hatha Yoga entails doing it willfully and devoid of the five senses and the mind. Most people only associate Hatha Yoga with asana practice. But the only way to reach the blissful condition of samadhi is by the disciplined practice of asana, pranayama, dharana, and dhyana.
